Loose Tea Bagging & Packaging Plant Installation

Loose Tea Bagging & Packaging Plant Installation

The VFFS system packages 125g and 250g loose tea bags at approximately 25–50 bags per minute.

In 2025, we successfully supported the installation and commissioning of a complete loose tea packaging plant, delivering an integrated solution covering mechanical installation, electrical works, production-line integration and batch coding.

The project was designed to provide the client with a reliable and efficient packaging solution capable of handling both 125g and 250g loose tea products, while improving production consistency, packaging speed and traceability.

The Challenge

The client required a complete packaging solution that could move beyond manual or semi-manual packaging and provide a more consistent, scalable production process.

The installation required more than simply placing the machinery on the production floor. The project involved coordinating the mechanical and electrical requirements of the packaging equipment, integrating the coding system and ensuring that the complete line was properly commissioned and ready for production.

With the main packaging equipment standing approximately 4–5 metres tall, careful planning and coordination were also required during installation.

Our Solution

  • Aseyori Consulting coordinated the installation of the loose tea packaging system, including:

  • Mechanical installation and assembly of the packaging equipment

  • Electrical installation and connections

  • Integration of the Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) packaging machine

  • Integration of a batch coding machine for product identification and traceability

  • Machine setup and configuration for 125g and 250g pack sizes

  • Production-line testing and commissioning

  • Operational checks and handover support

The VFFS system forms the packaging material, fills it with the required quantity of loose tea and seals the finished pack, creating a streamlined packaging process from product feed through to finished bag.

Production Capability

The completed system provides the client with the flexibility to package two key product sizes:

125g and 250g loose tea bags

Depending on product characteristics and operating conditions, the line is capable of achieving production rates of approximately 25–50 bags per minute.

This provides the client with a significantly more scalable packaging operation while maintaining the flexibility to change between product sizes.

Integrated Coding & Traceability

As part of the project, Aseyori Consulting also integrated a batch coding system into the packaging process.

The coding machine allows production information such as batch numbers and other required product identification details to be applied to the finished packaging.

This gives the client greater control over product traceability and helps support professional retail-ready packaging.

Our Role

Aseyori Consulting's role extended beyond machinery supply.

We approached the project as an integrated engineering and project-delivery assignment, coordinating the mechanical and electrical aspects of the installation and ensuring that the various components worked together as a functional production system.

Our involvement included:

Project Coordination → Mechanical Installation → Electrical Installation → Machine Integration → Coding Integration → Testing → Commissioning → Handover

This approach allowed the client to deal with a single project partner for the critical installation and integration requirements.

The Result

The successful installation transformed the client's loose tea packaging operation into a more structured and scalable production process.

The completed line provides:

  • Two pack-size capabilities: 125g and 250g

  • Approx. 25–50 bags per minute production capability

  • Automated forming, filling and sealing through the VFFS system

  • Integrated batch coding

  • Improved packaging consistency

  • A more scalable production process

  • An integrated electrical and mechanical installation

Most importantly, the project demonstrates Aseyori Consulting's ability to take industrial machinery from installation through to an operational production solution.

Delivering More Than Machinery

For us, successful machinery projects are not simply about supplying equipment.

They are about understanding how the equipment needs to operate within the client's production environment, coordinating the installation, integrating the different systems and ensuring that the final solution is ready to produce.

The 2025 loose tea packaging project is another example of Aseyori Consulting's approach to practical engineering, machinery integration and project delivery.
